Here at Friendship Outdoor Recreation Center we provide 2 different styles of meals, buffet and family style.  Groups will be able to eat in our Flag Room, Dining Hall, or any other designated areas.

If selling alcohol groups must obtain a banquet license through the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. On the day of the event the original copy of the license must be placed in a visible location in the area where alcohol is being served.

Breakfast:  $10 per person.  Includes hot breakfast, cereals, yogurts, fruit bar, and hot/cold beverages.

Lunch: $12 per person. Includes an entrée including vegetarian option, fruit, salad bar, beverages, and dessert.
Dinner: $15 per person. Includes entrée including vegetarian option, fruit, salad bar, beverages and dessert.

Snacks: $3.00 per person. Includes sodas, ice, cups, and chips or cookies.

S’mores: $3.00 per person. Includes graham crackers, chocolate bars, and marshmallows.

Outdoor Fridge: $50.00

Cooler of Ice: $10.00

When lodging with Friendship Outdoor Recreation Center, linens ARE NOT available. All beds are twin bunk beds with a mix of wooden and metal bunks. All cabins are equipped with space heaters but nights can still be a bit chilly. We ask that groups please pack accordingly. Also, all villages have a fire pit with wood provided at no extra fee.


Dogwood (Basic):
8 cabins, 8 per cabin.
Restrooms located in shower-house nearby.
Total Capacity: 64 – $20/person, per night

Cedar Grove:
7 cabins, 12 per cabin
3 cabins, 10 per cabin
Restrooms and showers are located inside the cabins.
Large Pavilion with 2 ping pong tables and 4 picnic tables.
Total capacity: 114 – $25/per person, per night

Pine Grove:
3 cabins, 14 per cabin
2 cabins, 10 per cabin
Restrooms and showers are located inside the cabins.
Total capacity: 62 – $25/per person, per night

Huntmaster’s Lodge:
Barracks style lodging with one large meeting space.
Equipped with a back porch.
Lodge is HEATED with restrooms and showers inside.
Total Capacity: 56 – $25/per person, per night

Tent Camping:
Tents may be set up in of front and by Overlook hill.
Use of bath house (Overlook)
Total Capacity: Unlimited – $15.00/per person, per night

If getting all three meals, then a group gets the Dining Hall or Flag Room FREE. Rental of the Dining Hall or Flag Room doesn’t include use of kitchen. All rooms have chairs and tables provided.
